June 14 -August 15, for teens ages 12-18
Enjoy your summer reading and win prizes too! Sign up in Youth Services any time and pick up your packet. Prizes include Regal Cinema Movie passes, State Fair tickets, Outlet mall gift certificates, and the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. There are also t-shirts, books, food coupons, book bags and more!
Special Teen Summer Events on the third Thursday of every month
July 17, 6:30pm - Metamorphosis! Change Your Look!
August 15, 6-8pm - End of the Summer Prize Party @ Heide's Cafe
Rules: Earn prize entries by doing three of the following reading activities per entry - reading books or magazines, reading to other people, attending teen events, volunteering at the library, or writing book reviews (extra credit for big books). Most activities may be repeated and you may earn unlimited number of entries. Place completed entries in the container marked for the prize of your choice.
Teen Volunteers: Teens interested in volunteering at the library during the summer will earn credit toward a prize entry. Volunteer jobs include: helping with a Thursday children’s program, Tuesday night craft preparation, and other duties as needed.
Bonus Bi-weekly Puzzles: Puzzles to solve will be posted in the Teen area of the library. Every couple of weeks, all the correct answers will go into a drawing for extra prizes.
