Special Interest Collections

The library has several collections of books for use by parents, teachers and homeschooling families.

Homeschooling

The Woodburn Public Library welcomes homeschoolers and parents of homeschoolers in the library. We carry a collection of material to assist in developing curriculum and finding material. Be sure to check out the homeschooling magazine, Practical Homeschooling as well as the local homeschooling newsletter "Fanning the Flame", published in Hubbard, OR.

Parenting

The Woodburn Public Library Parenting Collection contains materials of concern to all parents. Everyday events from family life are addressed, as well as special situations. Kits designed for a child's extended stay at home are available. These kits contain books, games, puzzles, and videos to help families cope during a stressful time.
