Rural residents of Polk, Yamhill, and Marion counties may purchase a full-service card for a $60 per household annual fee. Limited-service cards are also available. Rural patrons should inquire at the Circulation Desk regarding card options.
The first library card issued to you is free! There is a 50¢ fee to replace a lost card. You cannot use another patron's account to check out materials unless you have that person's card with you.
NOTE TO PARENTS: Parents can obtain cards for children under 12 years of age by completing and signing an application for them. Parents are responsible for all materials checked out by their children. Staff will be happy to tell parents how many items their child has out, and what the due dates are. However, circulation records of library users of all ages are confidential under ORS 192.500. If you wish to view your child's record, you must have his or her card with you. You may also choose to have your children check out on your card, they must have that card with them to do that. Children have access to most materials in the library. Parents are encouraged to supervise and actively participate in their children's library use. Please be sure to discuss any restrictions with your child. The library staff does not monitor checkout activity. |
