Friends of the Library

The Lyons Friends of the Library is a volunteer group that is open for membership.  The group raises funds by sponsoring book and bake sales as well as other activities.  They meet the 2nd Monday of March, June, September and December at 4:00 p.m. at the City Meeting Room.  If you would like to know more, please call 503-859-2366.
Internet Access
The library has access to the World Wide Web.  To use the library's Internet computer, you will need to have a valid library card. You will also need to read the copy of the "Internet Use Guidelines" prior to using the system for the first time.

CCRLS - Search online catalog or NewsBank


Through the library's membership in the Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Service, cardholders are able to search and place holds on any materials from the 18 member libraries in Polk, Yamhill, or Marion counties. You can also access the online catalog from home using a tenet applicaton and logging on as CCRLS.  The Oregonian is available through NewsBank for all CCRLS library patrons. Just log on using CCRLS access.

Oregon State Library

The Oregon State Library provides information to Oregon state government as well as reading matrials to blind and print disabled Oregonians.
